Elizabeth Watkins is an Oxford graduate with a Diploma in Anthropology . She is the wife of a former Kenya administrator and has spent much of her life in many different parts of  Kenya. She has specialised in writing biographies of Kenya personalities for whom she has original material. Her first biography Jomo's Jailor: Grand Warrior of Kenya, the biography of Leslie Whitehouse was serialised in Kenya by Nation Newspapers. Elspeth Huxley wrote forewords to her first two biographies which received very favourable reviewers comments.
